Girl Scouts Love State Parks 2023: Remembering Big Ben (A Guided Hike)

Join a park interpreter as we learn about Village Creek State Park's history, listen to the stories behind the name of Ben, and acknowledge the power your actions have at our park. Our hike will last about 45 minutes. The Big Ben Trail is a 0.5-mile moderately strenuous trail. Make sure you wear appropriate shoes, bring water, and wear insect repellant. This is a free family-friendly event that requires no registration. If there is inclement weather during the time of this program, the alternative location will be inside the visitor center in our Theater Room. This hike works towards the Daisy Eco Learner, Cadette Eco Trekker, and part 4 of the Cadette Trees badges.  #GSLSP2023
