Kids' Fishing Derby

Village Creek State Park will host a fishing derby for kids 15 and under with the help of the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission. We have a small pond with easy access that will be stocked with plenty of catfish. If your child doesn't have a rod and reel, we have a few to borrow at the visitor center. COVID-19 SAFETY GUIDELINES ARE IN EFFECT FOR GUEST AND STAFF SAFETY. SPACE MAY BE LIMITED. Social distancing will be required while at the derby. Masks will be required if you are within 6' of other participants who are not from your household.
