Village Creek Day Camp
What to know
Join Village Creek State Park Interpreter Megan for three days of fun park activities! This day camp is for children between the ages of 7-12. Week 1 of day camp will be for participants between the ages of 7-9. Week 2 and 3 of day camp will be for participants between the ages of 10-12. Parents or guardians will drop off participants at the Meeting Room by 8 a.m. and pick up participants at 4 p.m. each day. Participants have the option of becoming a State Park Explorer as we explore the natural and historical resources of Village Creek State Park through guided hikes, creek explorations, arts and crafts, and special guest speakers. Each day, we will discuss the themes of Nature, Arkansas History, and Native American History. Participants are asked to bring a swimsuit, water shoes, towel, and close-toe shoes. Snacks and lunch will be provided every day. Registration and payment are required. Each week, the day camp is limited to 10 children; participants will be enrolled in the order in which the forms and payment are received. Please contact the Village Creek State Park front desk to request forms. Special note: We do not provide sunscreen or insect repellant.
