Eclipse Hike - Indian Rockhouse Guided Hike
What to know
Where will you be during the 2024 Total Eclipse happens? Allow us to take you on an adventure of a life time as we explore waterfalls and rock formations within the Ozarks!
The Indian Rock House is a loop trail that winds across hillsides and along a beautiful stream to the spectacular Indian Rockhouse Cave, which once sheltered prehistoric bluff-dwelling Native Americans.
At 3.5 miles, round-trip, the Indian Rockhouse Trail meanders past a sinkhole, waterfall, mine prospect, Panther Creek, sculpted bedrock and a quarry. Many of these geologic features are typical of a karst landscape.
People have been visiting this bluff shelter as far back as 7,000 BC.
The Indian Rockhouse is a moderate to strenuous trail with steep inclines/declines. Pets are not permitted on this trail.
