At 1015 on the morning of June 14th the 20th victim was recovered and tentatively identified.

20 fatalities have been confirmed and the individuals have been tentatively identified according to the Arkansas State Police.Eighteen names have been released by the Governor’s office or Arkansas State police after families were notified.

Arkansas State Police officers continue to clear an “unaccounted for” number of people that may or may not have been in the area.

Search and recovery efforts are continuing today but will be scaled back; canine units will be used again today to assist with these efforts.

A Critical Incident Stress team has arrived and a Critical Incident Stress Debriefing will be conducted today, Tuesday, June 15, 2010, with Forest Service employees from the local Ranger District and the Incident Management Team.

Private property owners will continue to be issued passes by the AR State Police and allowed to visit their property.
The US Forest Service is conducting hazard and damage assessments on public lands in the flood area.
Albert Pike Campground is closed and will remain closed until further notice to allow for ongoing recovery activities.
