FAYETTEVILLE – Three 6 Mafia will be live in concert on Friday, Oct. 24 at the Fayetteville Town Center with special guests Free Sol, Boom Kinetic (formerly Molten Lava) and Thanks for Nothing. The concert is the night before the Arkansas v. Ole Miss football game at the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville.

Doors will open at 7 p.m. with the show starting at 7:15 p.m. The Town Center is located on the downtown square. Tickets can be purchased at www.36tickets.com. Promoter Todd Hutchison of Hutch Entertainment is offering a special discount on tickets. When purchasing tickets online, enter the special promotional code “36” for a discount of $8 off of the $38 ticket price.

“With gas prices through the roof and the financial woes many of us are facing, we are offering this discount. We want a full house, a sold out show. We feel a discounted ticket may help,” said Hutchison.

Three 6 Mafia is the only hip hop artist to win an Academy Award. It received the award in 2006. The group had the number one rated show, “Adventures in Hollyhood,” on MTV last year. The band’s new compact disc, “Last to Walk,” debuted at No. 5 on the billboard top 200 chart and the band has had several multi-platinum CD’s and has scored multiple major singles, including: "Lolli Lolli," "Stay Fly," "Late Night Tip," "Sippin On Sum Syrup," "Ridin' Spinners," "Doe Boy Fresh," "Chickenhead," "Tear Da Club Up," "I'd Rather," "Chop Me Up" featuring Justin Timberlake and Timbaland, and 'It's Hard Out Here For A Pimp."

Free Sol is fresh off a Lollapalooza appearance. This Memphis quartet is considered one of the top up and coming acts, according to Hutchison. Free Sol has shared the stage with Justin Timberlake, Isaac Hayes, T.I., Digital Underground, Talib Kweli, Marc Broussard, Erykah Badu, and the Foo Fighters, just to name a few.

Boom Kinetic is an Arkansas band that formerly was named Molten Lava. The group has sold out world famous Gilley’s in Dallas as well as other nightclubs throughout Texas and Arkansas.

Thanks For Nothing just released its new CD “Masquerade.” This band has been onstage with One Republic, Collective Soul, Bret Michaels, Saving Abel, Fastball, and Cowboy Mouth.
