Step back into the past with living history characters that bring the past to life during Natural State Chautauqua-What Made the 20s Roar? The free event takes place June 3-5 at the Oil Field Park of the Museum of Natural Resources in Smackover. Each night a different character will portray an individual from the 1920s that was significant in our country's history. Prescott is the scene of the 23rd annual Chicken and Egg Festival on June 5-6. The festival takes place at City Park. On the schedule is a 5K run/walk, a 3-on-3 basketball tournament, bunco tournament, a Mrs. Hen and Mr. Rooster pageant, live music, and softball, tennis, and horseshoe tournaments. The 54th annual Bradley County Pink Tomato Festival is June 5-12 in Warren at the Bradley County Court Square. CSI Camp: Murder in the Oil Field is an opportunity for kids to search for clues and solve mysteries. During the week of June 14-16, day campers at the Museum of Natural Resources in Smackover conduct their own crime scene investigation. Here are the details of the crime to be solved: a body has been found in the oil fields of south Arkansas. What happened and who was this person? Smackover's 39th annual Oil Town Festival takes place June 16-19 at the City Park.
