The Four States Fair & Rodeo is set for Sept. 18–27 in Texarkana. Watch the clash of cars at the Demolition Derby Friday night. On Saturday there will be a parade downtown and a concert at night. Four nights of rodeo by the Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association are also on the agenda. Admission is $5 for adults, $3 for children, and free for children under 5-years old. The San Jose Taiko Drummers will visit Texarkana on Sept. 22 at the Historic Perot Theatre. The Japanese style of percussion featured will fuse the rhythms of Africa, Brazil, Bali, Latin America, and jazz with martial arts inspired choreography. Mark your calendar for the 5th Annual Mid South Club Car Show on Sept. 26 in Sheridan. There will be all types of autos there, a concession stand, and games for both kids and adults. The 41st Annual Camden BPW Barn Sale is set for Sept. 26 in Camden at the historic Tate Barn. The event is South Arkansas' largest arts and crafts festival.
