Come to the visitor center to check out the free resources that Jacksonport State Park can offer you to enjoy Free Fishing Weekend! Whether you are experienced or just beginning in this fun and relaxing hobby, you can check out upcoming fishing programming, chat with park staff, and even borrow a rod to use for the day. Residents and nonresidents may fish anywhere in Arkansas from noon Friday, June 12, until midnight Sunday, June 14, 2026, without fishing licenses or trout permits.
