New Moon Island Stargazing

Last night marked a new moon, which means great conditions for stargazing!  Set out on a scenic cruise to enjoy the beauty of DeGray Lake at sunset. As the light fades, we will make our way to a remote island and disembark for some star gazing on the beach. Lay back and take in the celestial beauty overhead, far from city lights and pollution. Consider bringing your own beach towel or camp chair. Seating is limited—reservations are required and can be made beginning noon the day before at the lodge front desk, (501) 865-5851. Stop by the lodge to pay before heading to the marina with your receipt. Please arrive 10-15 minutes early, because the boat must depart on time.
