Recreation Skills Demo

Join park staff at the visitor center as we demonstrate and teach a plethora of recreation skills. If you want, see if you can pass our skills test beforehand, then join in the fun as we learn tips, tricks, and techniques across multiple recreational activities commonly enjoyed in the park, and afterwards have the option to see how much you've improved. Recreations covered include climbing/knots, paddle sports, biking, hiking/backpacking and more.
