A Gathering for Reading of the Declaration of Independence and Discovering Delta Heritage Trail Guided Hike

Delta Heritage Trail State Park tells a story about America and here is your chance to discover it. Your journey will begin at the visitor center for a reading of the Declaration of Independence. From there, join a park interpreter for a guided hike on a gravel surface trail covering 0.5 miles last 30 minutes. Along the way we will travel the path of a former rail line that spurred development of the region and uncover how it is being transformed into a hiking and cycling trail. Bring drinking water, sunscreen and insect repellant. Dress to be outdoors and have comfortable footwear.
