Nature as an Art

Join one of the local residents and park staff for a morning nature walk along the trail and learn about your natural surroundings. As a bonus you will gather and learn how some of the simple, yet smaller items found in nature can be used to create a one-of-a-kind art masterpiece. At the end of the walk, you will take what you have found and create your very own art masterpiece that you can take home. Please wear closed-toe shoes to the event and arrive at least 10 minutes early. A sign-up sheet will be available at the park visitor center. Participants must be registered by 3 p.m. the day before the event. This is a great program for young kids, but people of all ages are welcome. We will meet at the Spring Branch trailhead located by the pavilion.
