OPENING RECEPTION: PAINTING THE ARKANSAS PARKS EXHIBIT
Join Mississippi River State Park for the opening reception of the Painting the Arkansas Parks exhibit, presented by the Heart of America Artists Association. Guests will enjoy an exclusive first look at the exhibit featuring artwork inspired by Arkansas State Parks, including pieces connected to the artists’ 2023 visit to Mississippi River State Park.
The evening will include remarks from special speakers, opportunities to meet participating artists, and a chance to explore the collection before the exhibit officially opens to the public. The exhibit showcases both completed studio works and plein air studies created on location throughout Arkansas’s diverse natural landscapes.
