Preserving Ozark Chinquapin

Join a park interpreter at the visitor center porch (area where rocking chairs are located) to learn more about our park's effort to preserve the threatened Ozark Chinquapin. Together we will take a short walk to our chinquapin restoration area and discuss the importance of this tree in our park's ecosystem.
