Little Rock

Little Rock sits on the banks of the Arkansas River in Pulaski County, located in the center of the state. And with a population of nearly 200,000 people, it's the largest city in Arkansas and definitely the place to find a good time at a great value.

Cycling Two Rivers Bridge

Clinton Presidential Park Bridge

The bridge serves as the eastern crossing of the 15-mile Arkansas River Trail, which runs along both the north and south banks of the Arkansas River. The loop is a must-see for visiting cyclists, hikers, and outdoor enthusiasts.

Kings River Falls

High in the mountains of Madison County lie the beginnings of the Kings River. From this steep country the stream twists its way northward to the White River and finally flows into southern Missouri's Table Rock Lake, a distance of approximately 90 miles.

Hwy 165, Scott

Continuing south on U.S. 165 from Scott, travelers come to an oddity for this region: an apparent hillock in the flat terrain, visible on the highway's right side. It is a part of what is now Plum Bayou Mounds Archeological State Park, which preserves one of the largest Native American mound complexes in the lower valley of the Mississippi River.

A taste of Arkansas

Any local will tell you that the best food around can be found in the dives and mom and pop shops that offer up the food that Arkansans love the most. Venture past the chains and sample all of the great local restaurants that we have to offer. Check out the two locations featured in this video: Camp Taco and Stickyz Rock ‘n’ Roll Chicken Shack.
