Malvern 150

The City of Malvern will host the "Malvern150" festival on Saturday, July 18, to celebrate the city's sesquicentennial anniversary (officially incorporated on July 22, 1876). The free, daylong community event will feature live music, over 100 vendors, a Family Fun Zone, a classic car show, and historical contests.

Event Schedule & Highlights
The celebration spans the historic downtown business district and Centennial Park. The tentative event breakdown includes:

• 6:30 a.m. – 10:30 a.m. | Annual 4-H Pancake Breakfast
Held at the First Baptist Life Center.

• 7:30 a.m. – 10:00 a.m. | Rockport Masonic Lodge #58 Breakfast
Held at the First United Methodist Church Fellowship Hall.

• 10:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. | Family Fun Zone & Vendors
Features a foam party, water bouncy houses, Arkansas Game and Fish K-9 demonstrations, and the legendary Brick Car Derby.

• 10:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m. | Downtown Shopping
Participating Main Street businesses will host extended hours and specials.

• 10:00 a.m. | Tournaments & Competitions
Features a skateboard tournament, a Baggo tournament, a weightlifting contest, and more.

• 3:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. | 1870's Fashion Show & History
"Celebrating 150 Years of Style" eras-themed fashion show at the Historic Ritz Theatre and a Hot Spring County Museum costume contest.

• Noon – Midnight | Live Entertainment & Food Trucks
Multiple stages featuring live music and food trucks spanning late into the evening.

• Cost & Location: Admission is completely free, and free parking is available throughout downtown.

• Preparation: Organizers highly encourage attendees to bring their own lawn chairs and set up in the Main Street entertainment district.
