SOAR NWA Fills Northwest Arkansas Skies with Color, Community and Purpose

Glowing hot air balloons will transform the Benton County Fairgrounds into one of Northwest Arkansas' most memorable summer spectacles when SOAR NWA returns August 14-15. More than a balloon festival, this two-night celebration brings together unforgettable entertainment, family-friendly activities and a mission that continues making an impact long after the weekend ends.

Visitors can experience spectacular balloon glows, helicopter and tethered hot air balloon rides, live music, wrestling entertainment, Kids' Zone, car exhibit and tasty eats from local food trucks and the beer garden. Lawn chairs and blankets are encouraged, making it easy to settle in and enjoy an evening beneath the glow of colorful balloons.

Behind the festival is Open Avenues, a Northwest Arkansas nonprofit that has spent more than 50 years empowering adults with disabilities through employment, vocational training and community inclusion. As the organization's largest annual fundraiser, SOAR NWA helps create opportunities for individuals to build meaningful careers and greater independence while strengthening communities across the region.
