Hot Springs Village
A Resort-Style Community in the Ouachita Foothills
Spread across 26,000 acres of the Ouachita Mountains, Hot Springs Village is built around lakes, golf courses and trails.
Hot Springs Village is home to 11 lakes, nine golf courses, and 30 miles of trails threading through the hills. Recreation opportunities are the heart of this community.
On the Water
The lakes are the core of Hot Springs Village. Relax on a swimming beach or fish for bass, catfish, bluegill, and sunfish. Balboa Marina and DeSoto Marina both offer pontoon boat, kayak, and paddleboard rentals. Sunrise and sunset cruises run seasonally.
On the Course
Golf put Hot Springs Village on the map with nine courses. The variety means you can play every day of the week without repeating a hole, a draw for golfers who want more than a weekend round.
On the Trails
More than 30 miles of maintained nature trails wind through the wooded terrain for hiking and biking. The trail system connects to the lakes and into the surrounding Ouachita landscape.
Sports and Recreation
More activities for all ages and skill levels include 14 pickleball courts, a bocce ball and lawn bowling facility and a zero-entry outdoor pool. The tennis center is a 13-court complex with mixed leagues and a clubhouse featuring a pro shop, lounge and kitchen.
Beyond the Village
Several Arkansas State Parks are a short drive away. Lake Ouachita State Park, Lake Catherine State Park and DeGray Lake Resort State Park are all within 30 miles and offer more boating and hiking opportunities. Drive roughly an hour and a half southwest of Hot Springs Village for the unique experience of digging for diamonds at Crater of Diamonds State Park.
Another easy day trip is nearby Hot Springs for shopping, dining, arts and Hot Springs National Park. The combination of the Village's outdoor depth and Hot Springs' cultural offerings gives you more than a weekend can hold.
