All About Bears: Campfire & Craft

Explore one of the Ouachita's most fascinating animals, the black bear. Learn about the animal's habitat, behavior, and diet while viewing pelts, skulls, and prints. Enjoy a few black bear stories prepared for you by the park interpreter. Guests are welcome to share their own experiences with this animal as well. After learning about these amazing creatures and sharing stories around the fire, create a fun black bear themed craft to take home as a souvenir of your park visit. Folding chairs will be provided, but guests are welcome to bring camp chairs for comfort.
