Christmas Bird Count

Meet a park interpreter at the trailhead to collect valuable birding data for the Christmas Bird Count. This special event is an annual bird census held in collaboration with the Garland County Audubon Society. This count will take place on the Falls Branch Trail, a 2-mile hiking trail where we will record all the birds we see or hear. No prior birding knowledge is needed. Wear comfortable hiking shoes and bring water and a snack.
