Dutch Oven Outdoor Cooking Workshop
Make plans to join a park interpreter for this culinary adventure and learn the ins and outs of cooking outdoors with Arkansas’ official state cooking vessel – the Dutch oven. Learn cast iron cooking techniques, basic care and cleaning as well as recipes to try at home. Together we will cook up a delicious meal, all while enjoying the natural and scenic surroundings of Arkansas’ resort state park. Cap off this unforgettable experience with a relaxing Eagle Watch Boat Tour on beautiful DeGray Lake. This workshop is designed for beginners in the world of Dutch oven cooking, but all are welcome. Please dress for the weather – it will be colder out on the water. Registration is required and space is limited. Please note registration deadlines below. Admission fee covers the workshop training and handouts, your meal, and a post-lunch Eagle Watch Boat Tour.
