PAINTING THE PARKS

Channel your inner master artist. In celebration of our current Painting the Arkansas Parks exhibit, we invite artists of all skill levels to participate in our week-long "Copyist" program. Bring your favorite painting materials (acrylics, watercolors, oils, or sketchbooks) and set up your easel directly in front of the professional landscape art on display. Replicate the brushstrokes of the masters, study their use of light, and create your own souvenir of Arkansas’ natural beauty. Drop in for an hour or stay all day. Free admission. All ages (children must be accompanied by an adult).
