Signs of Wildlife Hike

We may not always see animals, but they are present. By taking a closer look, we can find the evidence they leave behind. Embark on the Camp Ouachita Historic Site Trail to search for signs of wildlife. On this 1/2-mile hike, look for animal evidence such as dens, chewed trees, and bird nests. Along the way count just how many species you have observed. This hike is moderate and will be taken at a slow pace to explore the area for signs of wildlife. Make sure to bring water and wear sturdy hiking shoes.
