Stringband Music & Arts Festival

Plan your Ozark retreat this fall for two days of lively stringband music, dance, handcrafted art, and old-fashioned fun October 9th and 10th at the Ozark Folk Center in Mountain View!

The event includes an evening music show on Friday and Saturday at Ozark Highlands Theater starting at 7 p.m., plus a special matinee set on Friday and Saturday in the Craft Village beginning at 2 p.m.

Performers on Friday include Mountain View’s own Riggsville Ramblers, the Ozark Folk Center Square Dancers, and award-winning songwriter John Depew and his banjo-mandolin trio. The line-up on Saturday include Salem Plateau featuring the Arkansas’ 2026 Old Time Banjo Champion Grace Stormont-McCarthy, and youth folksinger and banjo phenom from western North Carolina, Murphy Campbell.

Festival tickets include admission to music shows in the theater and the Ozark Folk Center Craft Village from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. for live stringband music, craft demonstrations, and old-fashioned fun.
