Sunrise at Sylvia Hike

Enjoy a peaceful fall morning trekking on the Lake Sylvia Loop. Climb the bluff overlooking Narrow's Creek to experience the Ouachita Forest at sunrise. View beautiful features along the way such as Lake Sylvia, a small cave, the dam overlook, and a gorgeous view that spans miles. Explore the trail to discover wildlife at this early hour as well. This 0.8-mile hike is considered strenuous. In the beginning, it is moderate, halfway through there is a steep rocky incline up a bluff, and then the hike finishes downhill. Guests are welcome to bring trekking poles. Make sure to bring water and wear good hiking shoes.
