Women in the Woods: Flower Power
Do you want to help spread native plants in your area and watch them grow? Join the park interpreter to learn about the benefits of native plants in the park's wildflower field. Then, get your hands dirty and make seed balls to spread the flower power. This program involves hiking a portion of the Dogwood Lane Trail and through the wildflower field. Please dress to the weather, wear hiking/good walking shoes, and bring water and insect repellant. This Women in the Woods event is free, but registration is required. To register, call the park at (870) 932-2615.
This event is part of the Women in the Woods series at Lake Frierson State Park. Women can grow their roots in Arkansas State Parks. Join us on the first Sunday of each month at Lake Frierson State Park to explore outdoor skills and form personal connections with park resources and recreation opportunities. Activities are led by park interpreters and local professionals. Pre-registration for all Women in the Woods events is required.
