Lake Norfork Boat Poker Run is July 29

Launch your boats on Lake Norfork on Saturday, July 29 and enjoy a fun day on the water for the 5th annual Lake Norfork Boat Poker Run. During the event, you cruise seven “ports of call” collecting one playing card at each stop to obtain a poker hand. Grand prizes for the top three hands are awarded at the wrap-up celebration at the close of the event.

The Poker Run takes place from noon to 5 p.m. Participants can register and check-in the morning of the poker run between 10:30 a.m. and noon at the Jordan Marina Pavilion. Or, pre-register by July 20 by picking up a form at one of the participating marinas or through the Lake Norfork Chamber of Commerce website.

Pre-registered participants can start the poker run from any port of call. Each marina or boat dock serving as ports of call will have welcome packages to hand out to pre-registered participants the morning of the event.

Gift bags are given to participants. Proceeds from entry fees are used for the beautification of Lake Norfork.

The cost is $25 per poker hand and includes playing cards, dinner and a prize ticket. Additional poker hands are $25 and additional dinner tickets are $5. Dinner and music takes place at the wrap up at 5 p.m. For more information, call Whitney Rodgers at 870-421-6789 or email [email protected].
