Learn How to Give a Handmade Christmas

There’s nothing more unique or thoughtful than a handmade gift. Mountain View’s Arkansas Craft School is offering classes to help people create Christmas presents on Saturday, Dec. 6 at Tomahawk Creek Farm, located at 543 Cochran Road. It’s a full day with themed crafts and classes in birdhouses, baskets, ornaments, corn shuck angels, creative Christmas cookies, and organic skincare gifts. Bring a sack lunch. The Arkansas Craft School is a center for craft education, dedicated to helping aspiring and practicing craft artisans gain the skills they need for success in the creative economy. It offers weekend and week-long workshops in clay, glass, metal, fiber, wood, and other craft related media.  The School also offers workshops in marketing and management practices geared specifically for artisans, crafts for kids, and community craft programs.
