Summer youth programs offered on Mount Sequoyah

Registration is now open for Mount Sequoyah Retreat Center’s summer youth programs. Located on scenic Mount Sequoyah in Fayetteville, the center offers day camps for kids ages 5 to 12 from June through August.

Offerings include:

June 12-16: Camp Sequoyah Sports featuring lacrosse, soccer, volleyball, tennis, basketball, football, Frisbee, and more. Kids will play their favorite sports and try some new ones. 7:45 a.m. to 5:15 p.m. $175.

June 19-23 and July 24-28: Camp Sequoyah Tennis for kids that want to learn the game or improve their skills. All skill levels are welcome. 9 a.m. to noon. $120.

June 26-30: Camp Sequoyah Create gives kids the chance to sing, dance, act, and create in many different ways. 7:45 a.m. to 5:15 p.m. $175.

July 5-8 and July 12-15: Camp Sequoyah Missions is an overnight camp that allows for recreation and service work on and off campus with all supplies furnished. Junior camp is for kids in 3rd-6th grades and senior camps is for kids in 7th-12th grades. Both age groups are available each session. Email [email protected] for pricing and an application.

July 17-21: Camp Sequoyah Tech gives campers the opportunity to think critically, solve problems, and learn about the amazing world around them. Partner organizations are Robotics, University of Arkansas, and The Amazeum. 7:45 a.m. to 5:15 p.m. $175

July 31-Aug. 4: Camp Sequoyah The Great Outdoors will teach campers about the beauty of the outdoors and the best ways to experience it. Lessons and games will focus on camping and nature. Partner organizations include Uncle Sam’s Safari Outfitters and Fayetteville Parks and Recreation. 7:45 a.m. to 5:15 p.m. $175.

Aug. 7-11: Camp Sequoyah World Tour lets campers experience a different country’s culture every day. Kids will learn about the history, language, songs, games, food, and more while also learning how to appreciate those different from themselves. 7:45 a.m.-5:15 p.m. $175.
