Spring River Innovation Hub
Work, Connect and Create in Cherokee Village
Nestled in the heart of Cherokee Village, the Spring River Innovation Hub is helping redefine what a small-town business community can look like. As one of Arkansas' first rural innovation centers, this nonprofit hub transformed a once-vacant property into a vibrant gathering place where entrepreneurs, remote workers, community leaders and visitors come together to create, collaborate and grow.
The Innovation Hub is home to two unique spaces. The Hive serves as a co-working and small business incubator, offering workspace, technology resources, networking opportunities and mentorship for startups and established businesses alike. Travelers, remote workers and digital nomads can take advantage of affordable day passes for just $15, which includes access to co-working space, Wi-Fi, a kitchen and a private phone booth for virtual meetings. Monthly memberships are also available for those planning an extended stay in the area.
The Exchange provides flexible event space for workshops, meetings, networking events, celebrations and community gatherings. Throughout the year, the Hub hosts educational programs, business workshops and special events designed to bring people together while supporting economic growth in Cherokee Village.
Visitors can also experience a growing lineup of public events and seasonal programming. Summer offerings include hands-on STEM camps where children explore topics such as engineering, gardening and cooking, along with adult experiences like watercolor painting and cooking classes under the stars. The Hub is also home to seasonal festivals like the Arkansas Pie Festival and Oktoberfest, as well as Saturdays at the Market, the local farmer’s market.
Planning to attend an event? Turn your visit into a weekend getaway!
Cherokee Village offers plenty to explore beyond the Innovation Hub, including seven scenic lakes, two championship golf courses, miles of hiking and biking trails, pickleball courts, fishing opportunities and access to the crystal-clear Spring River. Visitors can spend the morning browsing the farmers market, enjoy an afternoon on the water and return for an evening class, workshop or community event.
Whether you're launching a business, working remotely for the day or simply looking for something new to experience during your stay in Cherokee Village, the Spring River Innovation Hub provides a welcoming place to connect with the community while discovering the creative energy that continues to shape this corner of the state.
