For one unforgettable day each September, Downtown Walnut Ridge transforms into the place where music history comes alive. Beatles at the Ridge returns Saturday, Sept. 19, celebrating the only Arkansas town where The Beatles ever stopped.
What began with the band's unexpected 1964 plane landing has grown into an award-winning festival that brings thousands of visitors together for live music, family fun and a full day of community celebration.
Admission and parking are completely free, making it easy to spend the day exploring everything the festival has to offer. Browse more than 100 artisan and craft vendors, enjoy delicious eats from food trucks and festival favorites, admire beautifully restored classic cars and let the kids enjoy activities designed just for them. Throughout the day, Beatles-themed experiences and community exhibits celebrate Walnut Ridge's unique place in music history.
The entertainment lineup keeps the energy going from morning through the evening. Enjoy performances by the Williams Singers from Williams Baptist University, hometown favorite and American Idol standout Marybeth Byrd, and Mid-South entertainer Memphis Jones before the internationally acclaimed Liverpool Legends take the stage. Handpicked by Beatles manager Louise Harrison, the tribute band recreates the music, look and excitement of the Fab Four, bringing the festival to an unforgettable close.
