Arkansas Renaissance Festival

Step Into Another World at the Arkansas Renaissance Festival

The Arkansas Renaissance Festival transports guests into a fully immersive world of knights, Vikings, pirates and fantasy at Dragonstone Springs in Mount Vernon.

Far beyond a temporary fairground, Dragonstone Springs is an 80-acre permanent Renaissance village filled with castles, artisan shops, entertainment stages and interactive experiences designed to pull visitors completely out of the modern world and into another age.

Throughout the village, guests encounter world-class entertainment around every corner. Watch armored knights clash in full-contact jousting tournaments, hear the roar of fire breathers and discover mermaids, musicians, stilt walkers and storytellers woven throughout the streets of the kingdom. The rhythmic sound of steel ringing from the blacksmith forge mixes with live Celtic and folk music across more than eight stages of entertainment.

At Dragonstone, visitors are not just spectators – they become part of the story. Guests can join interactive quests, dance around the maypole, throw axes and knives, practice archery, meet Vikings and pirates, or kneel before Queen Marrianna herself to be knighted. Whether arriving in costume or everyday clothes, everyone is welcomed into the world of the festival.

Festival food is part of the adventure as well. Guests can feast on giant turkey legs, Scotch eggs, meats on a stick, funnel cakes and fresh cobbler while enjoying specialty experiences like High Tea with the Queen and the all-new Champions Feast inside the new 4,000-square-foot Feast Hall. This immersive dining experience is designed to transport guests into another era with hearty medieval-inspired fare and unforgettable entertainment. Tickets for the Champions Feast are limited and expected to sell out, so early reservations are encouraged.

Throughout the village, artisan merchants offer handcrafted goods ranging from leatherwork and blacksmith creations to glassblowing, custom boots and apothecary-inspired treasures.

The Arkansas Renaissance Festival returns for a limited six-weekend season beginning August 29. Visitors can make a full weekend getaway by staying in Conway while exploring one of Arkansas’ most unique immersive attractions just a short drive away.
