More about the murder mystery:

  • This event showcases a beautiful historic home, as well as several historic Washingtonians. The mystery itself is fiction, but is centered around real places and some real people, with intent to give you a sense of place through entertainment.
  • The year is 1877 and Colonel Williamson is the new owner of the Brunson House (this is factual). The setting is a festive holiday party hosted by the new Colonel in town. The guests are based on true Washington residents of the past. Before we begin, we will explain how the event will progress, as well as the nature of our characters.
  • Once the event has ended, we “come back to today” and explain more fully who our characters are based on, and what we took liberty with. We hope you depart with a deeper connection to Historic Washington, having enjoyed comfortable hospitality and camaraderie.

*Participants must be 21+ years old. For questions or to register, call the park at 870-983-2684.

$275 for two / $200 for one. Limited to 16 guests.
