Battle of Prairie Grove Reenactment

This is a 2-day, free event held on December 5 and 6 and includes several Civil War themed interpretive programs and activities. Tour military camps, observe drill demonstrations from both the Union and Confederate Armies, meet and chat with living historians, learn about life on the home front, listen to Civil War era music, experience a period dance Saturday night, and witness the reenactment of the battle on both Saturday and Sunday.
