Cold Weather Biking and Ride Workshop: Barton

Delta Heritage Trail State Park provides year-round outdoor adventures. A winter expedition reveals details that are hidden in warmer months, seasonal wildlife viewing, and unique photography opportunities. This workshop starts by showing how to prepare and safety bike in cold weather. Then you can put your new skills to a test on a 6-mile guided bike ride with a park interpreter from the visitor center lasting 1.5 hours. You will be prepared for planning more winter adventures. Registration is required by 12 p.m. on November 20 by calling the park at (870) 572-2352. Bikes and helmets are included with registration fee. Dress to be outdoors and bring sunscreen, drinking water, and snacks.
