Cold Weather Biking and Ride Workshop: Yancopin

Delta Heritage Trail State Park provides year-round outdoor adventures. A winter expedition reveals details that are hidden in warmer months, seasonal wildlife viewing, and unique photography opportunities. This workshop starts by showing how to prepare and safely bike in cold weather. Then you can put your new skills to a test on a 5-mile guided bike ride with a park interpreter into the deep Delta woods and across the magnificent Yancopin Bridge lasting 1.5 hours. Registration is required by 12 p.m. on November 20 by calling the park at (870) 572-2352. Bikes and helmets are included with registration fee. Dress to be outdoors and bring sunscreen, drinking water, and snacks.
