Heat, Weather, and Safe Adventuring Workshop and Hike at Barton Trailhead

Don't let the heat of summer discourage you from venturing outdoors on Delta Heritage Trail. Meet at the visitor center where a park interpreter will provide practical tips on preparing to stay safe and comfortable during outdoor adventures on Delta Heritage Trail in the summer. Then try out your new skills on a 30-minute hike with a park interpreter covering one mile. Bring drinking water, insect repellent, and sunscreen. Dress to be outdoors and have comfortable footwear.
