Outdoor Photography Workshop and Guided Bike Adventure

Delta Heritage Trail State Park offers miles and miles of outstanding places for taking outdoor photos. This is your chance to experience it and get excellent photos at its southern terminus in Arkansas City. The adventure starts at the Arkansas City trailhead with a park interpreter who will offer some practical tips on getting started photographing outdoors. Then you can test your newly acquired skills on a guided 4-mile bike ride at a leisurely pace with a park interpreter on a paved trail. The journey will take you past a historic section of Arkansas City and along the Mississippi River levee with sweeping views of wetlands. These are all excellent places you can get shots to add to your collection. Please bring a camara or phone to take photos, sunscreen, insect repellant, snacks, and drinking water. Dress to be outdoors. Registration is required by calling the park by 12 p.m. on October 16 at (870) 572-2352.
