What to know
The Forest Trail is a walk along an old logging road, highlighting the characteristic oak and hickory woods of the Ozarks. The trailhead is located across from the Campground on HWY 23 Spur. It is approximately 2 1/4 miles round trip. It is a moderate hike at the start that turns into a gentle walk once you reach the top of the ridge.
