Aquariums & Zoos
Take a walk on the wild side
In addition to the native animals that call The Natural State home, Arkansas has several cities that contain a variety of wildlife and animals in zoos, aquariums, wildlife refuges, and nature centers.
Experience exotic species in Arkansas by visiting the Little Rock Zoo, Arkansas Alligator Farm & Petting Zoo in Hot Springs, and Turpentine Creek Wildlife Refuge in Eureka Springs. For an aquarium, visit The Witt Stephens Jr. Central Arkansas Nature Center in Little Rock. There are plenty of places to see general wildlife too, such as Cockrills Country Critters Petting Zoo in Cabot and Barnyard Friends & Stables in Morrilton.
