Grace Cottage is a wonderful 1920s home situated in the beautiful town of Washington, Arkansas. The home comfortably fits four and is located next to Historic Washington State Park. Enjoy a relaxing and restful weekend in the community of Washington.
The Cottage sleeps a maximum of five people in two bedrooms. The front bedroom has one full size bed and one single bed and the back bedroom has one full size bed. Both bedrooms share a single full bathroom. The bathroom is equipped with a single sink, toilet, shelves, mirror, and tub/shower. Cottage includes TV and DVD player. No cable is available. All rooms have central air/heat.
The Cottage is located next to Historic Washington State Park. The park interprets the 19th century history of this town that became famous for the Bowie Knife and became the Confederate Capital of Arkansas for the last two years of the Civil War. Various activities happen on a daily basis in the park and more information can be found online. Williams Tavern Restaurant is open from 11 a.m.-3 p.m. for lunch on a daily basis for a great southern meal. From May to September on Saturday morning, enjoy visiting the Old Washington Farmers' Market across the street from Williams Tavern Restaurant and taste of the local produce.
Everything in the town of Washington is within walking distance. The visitor center for Historic Washington State Park is only four blocks from the front door. For lunch, Williams Tavern Restaurant is only two blocks just down the street. Grace Cottage is located eight miles from Hope and 33 miles from the Crater of Diamonds State Park in Murfreesboro.
