Events in Little Rock

In Little Rock you’ll find some great events for visitors of any age on any given weekend.  

The Little Rock Marathon is considered one of the top marathons in the country. People from all over the nation and world converge in Little Rock each year to cheer on the participants as they race through the streets of Arkansas’ capital city. The Big Dam Bridge 100 is Arkansas’s largest cycling tour.  Each year, thousands of cyclists from around the country participate in the annual event. The routes take riders across Central Arkansas and the Big Dam Bridge, a landmark in the city and the longest bridge in the nation built specifically for bicycle and pedestrian traffic. War Memorial Stadium plays host to major college football games, concerts and more.  

If you enjoy food and culture, the International Greek Food Festival holds title as the largest ethnic festival in the state. The World Cheese Dip Festival is one of Little Rock's largest and a delicious annual festival. The Main Street Food Truck Festival is also a popular annual festival.  

The Six Bridges Book Festival is a celebration of literacy and  language that is put on by the Central Arkansas Library System. The Arkansas State Fair is a multi-day event in October filled with fun for everyone.
