Lake Willastein in Maumelle
Maumelle is located a few miles from Little Rock on Interstate 40. The Big Dam Bridge, the second-longest pedestrian bridge in the nation, is also located a few miles from Maumelle along Highway 100.
The city has walking and biking trails and is also home to two lakes: Lake Willastein and Lake Valencia. You can fish at both lakes as well as walk on paths around them. Also in town are community sports facilities like the Maumelle Country Club, which has an eighteen-hole championship golf course, and the Rolling Oaks Soccer Complex.
