What to know
Delta Oaks Lodge is located at Mellwood, Arkansas in Phillips County on the Delta Heritage Trail State Park. We are the only lodging along this rails-to-trails cycling path, perfect for hybrid bicycles and gravel grinders.
We are located just 29 miles from the trailhead at Barton, AR. , 29.3 miles from downtown Helena, AR., only 9.5 miles from Trailhead in Elaine, AR., and a short walk from the nearly complete trailhead in Mellwood, AR.
Let us be your home during King Biscuit Blues Festival, October 6-8. We feature a space to comfortably sleep 20. We have (6) double queen private bedrooms w/ full bath and a large private (4 ) full size bunk beds w/ full bath in our bunk room for your larger group; all in a comfortable shared space with a fully furnished open kitchen and living area with satellite TV’s for your enjoyment!
We are also a favorite destination during the famed Central Arkansas Delta Hunting and Fishing seasons; whether your heading afield on private property or the many Public land opportunities for Duck, Geese, Deer, Squirrel, Turkey, Coon, Hog, Catfish, Bass, and White Perch.
There’s also opportunities to take a one of kind hike, canoe/kayak, photography, or bird watching trip and become one with nature to see a Black Bear, Alligator or some of the 273 Bird species observed from the public land habitat of a Wetland of International Importance and a Globally Important Bird area with neotropical migrant songbirds, water birds, shorebirds, and waterfowl.
