Robert Nighthawk Gravesite
What to know
Also known as Robert McCollum, Nighthawk was born in Helena in 1909. He and his brother, Percy McCollum, worked together playing for local gatherings in the early 1930s. During the 1940s and 50s, he appeared on the “Bright Star Flour” show and “Mother’s Best Flour Hour” show on KFFA radio in Helena. He died at the Helena Hospital in 1967 and is buried in Helena’s Magnolia Cemetery.
