Family Events

In addition to its natural beauty and rich history, Arkansas is the perfect destination for families. The state offers a variety of family-friendly events, festivals and activities that are sure to entertain kids and adults alike.

Take your aspiring engineer to the The World Championship Cardboard Boat Races in Heber Springs to watch participants race a boat made entirely out of cardboard. A budding musician might enjoy the Beatles at the Ridge festival in Walnut Ridge where you can listen to music and explore Beatles Park. And any child would enjoy the Arkansas Goat Festival, where you can participate in goat yoga, goat milking demonstrations and even goat races.
