What to know
Downtown Playhouse is a casual (coffee & dessert) live stage theatre located in Pocahontas. Huge museum-quality artworks representing playbills of iconic Broadway shows are hand-painted on the interior wall of the auditorium creating a very unique ambiance. Full-scale quality stage art is presented by 2nd Act Productions, the resident acting troupe of Downtown Playhouse. We are housed in the Imperial Movie Theatre listed on the National Historic Register in downtown Pocahontas. An evening at Downtown Playhouse has been dubbed, "The Coolest Casual Night in Town!"
