HarvestFest in Hillcrest
HarvestFest is an annual festival that takes place each fall in the historic Little Rock neighborhood of Hillcrest. The one-day event is a community celebration of the season and there is plenty to do for both kids and adults while there. Many vendors are on site to check out and there are also food trucks, local beer, live music, and a chance to explore the beautiful neighborhood with its shops and restaurants. The event is made possible by the Hillcrest Merchants Association, which is an organization of merchants and professionals that do business in the unique commercial district of Hillcrest, which includes restaurants, galleries, bars, shops and more.
The neighborhood can be found west of downtown Little Rock along Markham Street and lower Kavanaugh Boulevard. Hillcrest is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and is one of the earliest residential areas of the city. The architecture you can see includes turn of the century homes and cottages dating back to the early part of the 20th century.
