River Valley Photography Competition – Back By Popular Demand

Start capturing scenes, interesting people, places and things in and around the Arkansas River Valley and be a part of “Picture This,” a photography competition for a July exhibition open to all non-professional photographers residing in Pope, Conway, Johnson and Yell Counties or by invitation.

The contest will have one winner in each of two age groups: 18 and under, and 19 and above.  Photos can be black and white or color. Maximum size is 14”x20” and must be framed and have a wire hanger. Plexiglass is preferred. Specific rules and an entry forms are available upon request and must be submitted between June 27 and July 1at 5 p.m.

From 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. on Sunday, July 7, River Valley Arts Center in Russellville will host an opening reception of the “Picture This” Photography Competition and Exhibition. Because of the great interest and success of this competition and exhibition last year, people have asked that it become an annual event.
